Landry is speaking lawyer. Listen a couple of times again knowing that.
He can saw whatever he wants to now. He already lied saying the bos would get a committee and one of the members said it wasn't true.
Scott and verge were already on it.
By the time someone is hired landry won't have his fingerprints on it. He is using this shite to try and get rid of Woodward.

That’s not possible. And he knows it. Every contract forever is done that way…and will be going forward. If the state is involved they won’t give a deal like that. And the state WILL be involved So…
Every coach has a contract with the state, and the state does pay a portion of his salary. But, what’s to stop the coach from also having a contract with a private company that pays the majority of the contracted value?

This is how it works.
Iirc almost all of Kelly's salary was paid privately. Less than 1 million annually from the school itself

I know that’s how it works from a practical standpoint, but according to our dipshit governor the way it’s technically currently written the state is ultimately on the hook for the buyout of a contract, even though private entities agree to pay it.
ETA: I don’t know if he was playing dumb and trying to distance himself from the process, but he also stated that he wasn’t aware of anyone stating that they’d privately pay for the buyout before BK was fired. Which really sounds like gross incompetence if that’s the case.

Right, so we know how it works
Hes just trying to skew something visually on his favor. Like ive said a few times and he basically confirmed, the boosters will get who they want
