Just listened to a Mizzou football podcast about Baker leaving

They are understandably salty about losing their DC but it was a surprisingly fun listen.

- renamed Blake Baker to "Snake" Baker (nice).
- mad he had just accepted contract at Missouri and then left anyway for only 10% more money.
- Baker had a better path to a HC job by staying at Missouri for another season.
- can't believe anyone wants to work for Brian Kelly.
- Kelly "crawling back" to Baker after firing him a couple years ago looks shitty.
- called it a lateral move, "arguably a downgrade" because of the talent Missouri has coming back.
- mentioned several times that their DL coach Kevin Peoples may be an internal candidate for DC along with their LB coach.
- but, they also think they can get anyone for DC with the money they saved from Baker leaving, specifically mentioned Minter and Leonhard. "Drink can poach anyone he wants".
- want to meet LSU in SEC championship game or playoff next season and hang 70 on us.
- feel like Missouri is all-in for a Natty in 2024.
- what happens to Blake Baker if BK goes to Michigan?!?!
- bonus: they're still pissed Baker didn't put a spy on Jayden Daniels until the 4th quarter of our game (hmm, that sounds familiar).
I thought the bit about their DL coach Peoples was interesting since there is some talk of him coming to LSU. Overall the video reminded me of a more amateurish version of Pod of Geauxld, just less funny and less self-aware how much their fandom is affecting their opinions.

1) Sounds like some jilted Notre Dame concepts slipped in.
2) Had no idea the situation with House being a LBer coach in addition to being a DC
3) Good luck on Missouri being considered a talent warehouse
4) Might take a promotion for Peoples remaining there

This makes Peoples a little more interesting as a DL candidate for LSU, though their website specified he coached "edge".

Wow. Talk about two fricking weirdo delusional schools we took during the last expansion between them and A&M. They don’t seem to have many fans so it’s not as obvious but holy shite are they dislikable and out of touch with reality re: Missouri football from what I’ve seen

Fans are like a bunch of children sometimes…coaches, especially young guys, are always eyeing the next job. Whether it’s money or status, expecting these guys not to try and ascend is delusional.

It never ceases to amaze me that programs that have achieved FAR LESS than LSU still somehow have their noses in the air as though LSU is beneath them.

With a defense SO BAD THAT EVERY DEFENSIVE COACH GOT FIRED RUGHT AFTER THE SEASON ENDED. THEY GOT LET GO ALL AT ONCE.
