I wasn't a huge Kelly fan, but he did correct the ship a bit from the absolute circus that O left us with. His issues are ineptitude at schemes than culture.
Tying our OC to Underwood was stupid. If we had a real OC this year and Nuss does the minimum amount of offseason work (instead of the apparently negative amount that he did), then we're in a totally different place today and BK is still our coach.
Hell, if we weren't tied to Nuss, it's likely MVB wins us the Ole Miss and Vandy games and we are coming off our first L.
I imagine any cultural issues are tied to 3 variables: (1) Nuss (2) schematic disadvantages (3) The offensive players realizing BK wasn't capable of course correcting either. If you're an "elite" coach making $10M/year, that's just not acceptable in this era.
