That’s wild. He had one very successful year in college and kinda a meh year calling plays in the nfl. I know he was handicapped with injuries but that just seems like an extremely small sample size to judge someone before handing over the keys to a NFL franchise.
This is the same NFL that hired Kliff Kingsbury after being fired in CFB. At least Joe Judge had a good year before being hired.

Carolina's offense was not very good this year and I'm kinda surprised his name has gotten this hot this fast.

This is fricking crazy. There is no way he is ready. Way too risky a hire for all but the most desperate or most secure GM to make. There is no way I would make this hire if I were a GM.
I guess it could possibly work if he made an experienced DC hire and gave him complete autonomy on that side of the ball (like it worked short term for the RAMS), but that is an extreme long-shot.

Don’t forget he’s up for Bama OC too according to BOL. Gonna be a tough decision for him.

Brady looked like absolute shite at times this year making some real head scratching calls. The NFL is the great equalizer. The Sean McVay experiment only works for one or two years but these GMs are trying to find that one guy that sticks. How’s that working out for the Cardinals?

Everyone is looking for the next Sean McVay

Why aren’t they interviewing the true brains behind that record setting offense Ensminger??

He did way more with Bridgewater than SP did last season. He was without the best RB in football for all but 3 games. He also made 3 WR’s fantasy relevant on a week to week basis. When is the last time Carolina had 3 WR you could comfortably start every week on your fantasy team?

Sean Payton was demoted by Jim Fassel and was a young coach before the Saints took a chance on him.
Payton also spent 3 years working under Bill Parcells as the OC in Dallas between the Giants and Saints.

Yep and i expect him to be an nfl head coach next season. This isnt surprising, young OCs that show competent offenses get quick chances to be a head coach. Hell kliff is a damn head coach.
Chargers are a super bowl contender if they get brady with a competent DC

I guess thats why O was scared to keep him on staff. Brady to much of a baller to hold back.

This dude went from intern to Head Coach in 4 years. Unbelievable

But, but, Sean McVay??

Yes
And I’m concerned about the Peetz situation.
The NFL is desperate for QB’s and offensive coaches.
Arizona hired a HC that was fired by Texas Tech.
I thought Brady would be at LSU for several years because we could offer him 2.5 million
Those days are gone
Posted on 1/4/21 at 8:57 pm to The Pirate King
But some LSU fan suggested he should’ve stayed at LSU another year to raise his stock last night

There has to be at least a small part of him that thinks this is way too fast of a progression for himself.
Hope he leaves the NFC South if he does get a shot so I can root for him. Texans would be ideal in the context of being able to follow him here in Houston.
