Part of Deion's success at Jackson State and Colorado is he's basically been in a position to be a total arse to the players and they've had to essentially take it.

I think he kind of rides the line between "telling it like it is" and "being an arse". He drifts from side to side occasionally. Whatever you think of him, he has produced results.

As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I welcome these developments and look forward to a new era under Coach Prime.

Deion Sanders was my favorite football player as a child of the 90's.

As a lifelong Cowboys fan, I welcome these developments so I can stop rooting for them because this would be a clear sign that Jerry Jones is not serious about winning and I won't support a team that puts media attention over winning.

Deion Sanders was one of my favorite football players as a child but I know that in no way is he qualified to be the head coach of an NFL team.

Jerry is a complete buffoon so it wouldn't surprise me but it would be an awful hire and no Cowboys fan should want Deion as the coach. He isn't qualified. He's not an offensive guru, he's not a defensive guru, he's just a brand. In college a brand can work, it doesn't work in the NFL.

In addition he has a 8 million buy out and Jerry is notoriously cheap with coaches so he isn't paying that buy out.

I beg to differ...

It's entertainment, and I want to be entertained.

Bring on Coach Prime and let the light shine on my Great City!

Bad football entertains you?

I would prefer the more qualified candidate and one that is actually going to help you win games.

Again; selfishly, I just want all the attention on my Great City...

The team already gets more attention than any other team in football, mainly for losing. It'd be nice to change the narrative. Personally, I'd rather more wins over more attention.

I don't see how you can accurately predict how many wins there would be at this time...

This would be so damn entertaining. I may start paying more attention to NFL football.

I can't predict the exact number of wins, but he would 100% be a worse coach than who we just fired (with a healthy team) and I'm not a McCarthy fan. The guy has zero experience coaching in the NFL and will want to bring in his entire staff that was freaking coaching at Jackson State just 3 years ago.

They don't need some guy that is hobbling around on 8 toes trying to learn how to coach men instead of kids. He's a good college coach, I've never hated on him at Colorado because I like him, but he is legit not smart enough to be the coach of the Cowboys.

They are behind the curve because they waited so long to fire MM but this is a great year to be looking for a head coach, there are a lot of good candidates out there this year. Deion is not one of them.

We shall see. Heard on the radio that Jason Witten will be joining the new staff at Jerral's direction.

What side of the ball is Dan Campbell a guru on?

Mike Tomlin was a 1 year DC after being a lifelong DBs coach and as a DC his defense ranked last against the past….
