ETA:

Per Adam Schefter

quote:

“To hear from Jerry Jones is truly delightful, and it’s intriguing,” Deion Sanders told ESPN on Monday night. “I love Jerry and believe in Jerry. After you hang up, and process it, and think about it, it’s intriguing. But I love Boulder and everything there is about our team, the coaches, our student body and the community.”

If he had top notch coordinators and Deion did not coach and simply tried to recruit high profile players it could work.

But he would insist on playing his sons which would be a liability

I know Michael Irvin has been in Jerry's ear in support of Deion

It's the NFL. The money recruits the players.

Not even Deion is crazy enough to put Shilo out there on defense in the NFL. Maybe he hides him on special teams.

It’s the NFL, there’s a hard salary cap and the primary avenue for talent acquisition is the draft.

The NFL has a salary cap, this ain't college where you can just recruit all the best guys to join your team. Cowboys can only pay so many guys, dudes aren't going to take paycuts just to play for Deion. Plus Jones is the GM and historically doesnt pay out the arse for FAs, that would be hilarious to see the fallout from that.

A huge mistake for Jerry. Coaching in college is one thing. But the pros is another.

This won’t happen. Dak is stuck there with that ginormous contract. Deion only wants to play and coach his son at QB. He has to go to a team where they need a QB.

That being said, I pray it does happen so we can watch the drama unfold all summer.

This sucks. Because in OKC they show Dallas games over others. Tired of all the DS BS coverage
