I hope they announce he's leaving and Ole Miss let's him coach the play-offs. That extra time spent at Ole Miss is negligible in the big scheme of things.

He’s allowing time for commentators like Herbstreit and others to push for him to be able to leave, but still coach throughout the playoffs. Maybe he feels if public sentiment shifts Keith Carter will agree to allow him to finish out the season.

If that’s what it takes to get our guy, then frick it.
Rather take the L on this cycle and have our guy locked down for the future.
