LSU made a great offer. He has either discussed it or will discuss it with Luke Fickell, whom he trusts a great deal. I had one source told me that he’s be shocked if he’s not the DC. And another one tell me the same thing along the lines of what he told me before the Peetz hire. If Freeman isn’t the DC at LSU it’s because Fickell talked him out of it.

Cant imagine Fickell saying dont take the job. Would be very selfish.

Fickell told Freeman not to go into coaching years ago. Freeman didn't listen.
So Freeman can do the same thing if Fickell says no.

I feel like I would have had a few million reasons to make the decision myself or at least seek Fickell’s advice via phone call but then again I’m not calling plays on the sideline either.

Random was right about Jimbo coming. TBL and Vol can confirm. There was a gentleman’s agreement in place.
