1. Thr NFL isn’t College. The parity in talent is greater, the gap between Offense and Defense is narrower. Certain things that work in college won’t in the NFL. And he won’t be on a team built around a running back who never fricking plays.

2. “He was only good with elite talent”

OH NO, I would Hate to see him coach Boutte, Nabors, Smith , and Bech. That would suck.

3. He wouldn’t be on his own. He’s be working under Kelly. It’s a great situation. It’s a fricking no brained.

It makes so much sense it makes me think it won't happen, unfortunately.

The guy is not that good.

The little fact that people seem to overlook is that Steve Ensminger was the primary play caller in 2019.

Maybe Brady sucks at calling plays, it’s a different muscle than play design

I wondered a while back if his hangup about recruiting involved recruiting for Orgeron.

But this would be the big sticking point.

Agreed. Having both your HC and OC not really in love with the recruiting grind isn’t a great mix.

Brady has coached at a higher level than Ensminger ever did.

The OP is right. Brady and Kelley would be a winning combo.

Wow, just wow. IMO, this is equivalent to saying that about Saban after leaving the Dolphins. I’d rather have him on my sideline/booth than anyone else.

JUST WANT TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW THAT IF EMSINGER WAS SO GREAT AS A PLAYCALLER THAN WHY DIDN'T HE GET US A NATIONAL TITLE AND WHY HIS SO CALLED OFFENSE NOT LOOK LIKE THE OFFENSE THAT BRADY BRUNG WITH HIM FROM THE SAINTS,EVEN BEFORE 2019 AND BEFORE THAT. DON'T SIT THERE AND SAY COACH E WAS THE REASON THAT LSU GOT A RING AND HE WAS THE PLAYCALLER, BECAUSE HE WASN'T. YOU COULD TELL WHEN THE OFFENSE WAS EXPLOSIVE AND WHEN IT WASN'T. JUST SAYING

Neither Brady nor Ensminger are as good on their own as they were together. That is abundantly clear.

Brady obviously upped the game for training our receivers to not drop passes. I think his contribution to new innovation in drills was crucial but obviously he is a bright guy. I think he and Kelly would work well for LSU. Kelly has had success running traditional run-oriented offenses as well as RPO/Spread offenses.

The majority of people like to give ensminger zero credit.

I have no doubt Brady brought some new things re: coaching the WRs and concepts for the offense but he clearly wasn’t the only one responsible for the success in 2019.
