From Big time alumni on the coast Jackson and Harrison County. They are pushing for Napier as head coach.
They dont want a overhaul of the team like Kiffin and Leach would bring and like what Napier would bring to the program.
Something should take place by Saturday.

Napier is #1
That's all I got...

Napier would be the best fit for Ole Miss imo

I heard Napier is a done deal and they are worried about competition for him so have been leaking false Kiffin info.

Feel like if Napier stays one more year with a stacked roster, he can name any P5 job he wants.

You would be correct. Or he can take the big bump in pay and only last 3-4 years at Ole Miss because they can’t win without cheating their butts off.

Napier needs to leave. Remember how hot Hudspeth was early on at UL? The longer you stay at that apathetic shitshow, the cooler you’ll get.

You people are so delusional. One more year at USL means Napier could name his Power 5 job? Hahahaha!!! Uh, no.

He would not get Texas or USC, just to name two, off the basis of a stint at USL. He needs another stop before he can “name any P5 job he wants.”

ETA: More accurately, he needs to get to that next job ASAP. If he stays at USL too long, he risks suffering the same stock crash as Mark Hudspeth.

The difference between Napier and Hudspeth is that Hudspeth was trying to win now. He was fast and loose with the loopholes and questionable character kids.

Napier started laying a foundation as soon as he got here. In fact this team is 10-2 and we are a year away from its peak. With Wyoming and Missouri as the two tough OOC games next season Napier is poised to go 10-2 or better next year.

A year in which Tennessee, South Carolina, and several other jobs that are much better than what is currently available.

FSU is the only job open that is worth going after. Middling to sub par SEC gigs are just a money grab.

I’m an LSU season ticket holder who made 3 UL games this year. He had a good team playing hard. I’ll never understand the Lafayette sports market and I’ve lived here for 35 years. He has to be discouraged with the local support. Get out while the gettin is good.

PS. Look for Pry or Viator to be your next coach.

You think it's more desirable to stay at ULL than take an SEC West job? Ok

If Napier runs the table next season for an undefeated season, ranked in the top 25, you think it's delusional to think Texas and USC wouldn't have him in their top 5 short list of candidates at the very least? I mean...he's on multiple SEC West teams' short lists without winning a conference championship yet.

Yeah I think Napier will make a move, but it'll be to Memphis.

He's going somewhere else cause nobody watches ULL football games. So why should a coach, coach and then swim upstream relative to fans. ULL wouldn't know a good coach or team if they had one.

This would be a no brainer higher for Ole Miss. The guy has turned us around fast while we were still dealing with sanctions. With Ole Miss coming off of them I think he would be a great stability to the program. This sucks because idk who we get to build off of this. Hope he stays but if they want him they’ll get him.

Warning to Ole Miss fans, he likes analytics and is a bit quirky in game management. It can be frustrating at times. He’s still very raw on this front but pretty great everywhere else.

Ole Miss desperately needs an overhaul. If they ever want to be relevant. Luke was handed a small pile of stinking manure. And was never more than a place holder. Ok, you held our spot now run along and enjoy your new found riches. Simple.
