Hypothetically, how would Kiffin do at LSU?

This is just an aside, as I know everyone is fixated on Riley. But hypothetically, how do you think Kiffin would fare in Baton Rouge? I'm not certain he is a serious enough person to ever establish an NC caliber program, much less a dynasty. He sometimes strikes me as frivolous. But he does seem to have tactical acumen.

I think he’d be really good for about 3 years then he’d get bored and look for something else new and shiny. He’s a literal man child.

We'd lose 1 maybe 2 games a year. So good.

Fixed. You can tell how much time I've invested contemplating Lane as LSU's coach. He just seems so juvenile, like a novelty.

Yeah he may get older but the growing up part is sketchy.

If he came to LSU, he would probably do well. He would probably be good for a loss or 2 per season because of some of the dumbass decisions he make in game. He has almost cost his teams some games by putting them behind the 8 ball with some questionable calls.

He would be terrific. Best offensive mind in college football, would be able to attract a very good defensive coordinator to LSU, who could recruit all the Louisiana defensive talent that people rave about. If he stays at Ole Miss, he's going to spell trouble for the rest of the West.

Offense would be explosive and fun to watch. Defense would be put in tough spots and give up a ton of points. We’d win some games early , still lose to the good/balanced teams. Kiffins immature tweets and self importance would be embraced by the fans until they realize 10-2 is his ceiling. Then it would get old similar to Les miles’ goofball personality when we lose games we shouldn’t. Kiffin leaves in year 4 just ahead of the ncaa sanctions.

Pass.

Was just thinking...has Kiffin been asked about any of the vacant coaching jobs? I don't recall seeing any sort of statement from him, but perhaps I missed it.

Ah, the man with the crystal ball! Could you please ask it the futures of Riley and Campbell at LSU? This is far more interesting than following flight paths for some plane.

So he would be a gypsy like Saban was before setting up shop at Bama. Maybe so.

He would do really well. Would he occasionally lose a game? Of course. Who wouldn’t? But he would put together great teams just like he has at trash schools like FAU and Ole Miss. The list of reasons people do not like kiffin is always superficial and usually irrelevant when comparing him to other available candidates.
