That depends on who ends up taking an offer. If it is someone who isn't currently a HC, it could happen in the next couple of weeks. If it is an active HC, it will likely be 1-3 months, depending on whether his team plays in the playoff or a bowl game.

No currently employed coaching candidate is going to abandon his job in the middle of the football season. Further, no candidate currently employed elsewhere is going to let news of his candidacy leak to the media before his season is over.
That’s why we have an interim head coach - Frank Wilson - to run the team and the program until a new coach is hired.
