Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation.

What does this consist of? 7 guys who meet at Burger King on Thursdays for coffee discussing whose responsibility it is to call Jordy Hultburg's show during a discussion about the NBA to ask if the Lady Cajun's softball game will be on TV tonight?

LSU already considers their job to be too big for Napier. Can you imagine what Alabama fans/boosters think?
They think it is the greatest job in the history of college football and that EVERY HC in America will immediately stop what they are doing to take it once it becomes available.

They had their OC and HCIW already on staff in 2016 when Kiffin left...only to hire the NE Patriots tight ends coach to take the OC job?

Put this on the SEC Rant so we can see the response from the Alabama fans

here is a tentative plan being put into place to hire Napier at Alabama to be the OC and HCIW. The ULL Admin are aware of this and have quietly put together a list of potential Napier replacements. ULL knows at most they have one more season of Napier in place.

If Bill O'Brien leaves after this season (almost assuredly he will) then the OC job at Bama opens up and the Napier Plan may kick in sooner rather than later. If not after this season and that is what Alabama decides it still wants to do, the Napier Plan would definitely be in place after next season.

this is some dumb shite.

Sounds more like a push to increase Napier’s stock…especially with the timing.

Maybe this is Scott Woodward releasing leaks to get everyone on the Napier train.

My sauces at UT simply told me that they were going hard for Saban and that he listened. Finebaum has corroborated it. Please don't lump me with supa.

I think this is more likely a well placed rumor to gin up interest in Napier. Sounds like an agent "leak".

I could see this. They want to put out the “you’re missing on the next saban” narrative.

Plus, if Napier does want to go to Bama, he bounces from LSU . . . . JUST LIKE SABAN DID

Who wants to repeat that shite show. SW will run from that option. Because he has seen it in real time back in '04. At LSU

Your Jimbo bias is showing again Robbobbobb.

You don't limit a hire based on the fact that he MIGHT jump to Bama in several years if he's successful

That could be the case with literally any coach

I can assure you I am not a part of a Jimmy Sexton or Scott Woodward coordinated media effort

here is how it actually went down
Me: hey T-Boy how you doin'
T-Boy: I just left breakfast at T-Coon's and T-Joe told everybody that T-Billy going to Alabama to be T-OC
Me: oh cool

a week later
Me: hey T-Fred how you doin'
T-Fred: I just heard from T-Jim that T-Billy is going to Alabama to be T-OC
Me: yeah I heard that too from T-Boy who got it from T-Joe
T-Fred: what you think?
Me: I dont know. probably bullshite

which is why the "leaks" to drum up interest in Napier is a joke

There is no way Alabama is going to hamstring themselves by giving Napier the Head Coach in Waiting role. When the Bama job comes available they will be able to hire Napier away from almost any school he happens go be coaching should they chose. They will also keep the door open for any other great coach they may want to hire at the time.

If they give Napier this title they are committed to him and only him. I guarantee you this won't happen.

I'm going to ignore every part of your post except the part that indicates Saban is planning an exit strategy.
