The boosters are in agreement that BK era is done and they have the funds. What's holding them back is how much to allow Woody to be involved with the next hiring round. Right now, a few boosters are leveraging the payout funds in order to keep Woody as far away as possible.

I'm hearing that they're trying to have a unified front for a PC by end of the day.

Jimbo Fisher, Brian Kelly, Matt McMohan. That’s the last 3 hires Scott made for profitable sports.

That’s why the Governor is involved.

Damn dude is worth almost 5 billion. Google machine says Gordon is only worth 60 million which isn’t chump change but not enough to foot a big chunk of that buyout.

Look, I'm going to say it like I sad it last time we were looking for a coach. Back up the brinks truck and get Urban Meyer.

Florida and Ohio State Combined:
20-8 against top 10 teams.
Ohio State Specifically:
37-14 against top 25 teams.
20-8 against top 10 teams.
11-4 against top 5 teams.

I think Gordon's ability is to be an NIL booster annually (as a write off for his firm). He may not personally be worth that much but his firm can spend a lot for advertising/endorsements.

#UPDATE: LSU administrators and university executives have held and are holding high-level discussions over the future of football coach Brian Kelly. While there is no immediate resolution, the conversations - which involve the state’s governor - are on-going.

Didn't he leave both teams under scrutiny and possible sanctions?

Last word I got is that the Governor is trying to stay out of it but with the tax revenue LSU brings in, it's going to be hard for him to stand by.

It boils down to if the holdouts trust Woody going forward or not on if we see an entire overhaul this year.

They may hold off till new LSU admin comes in and go full bore AD search.
