The ones who keep bringing up Briles I guess don't understand the reason he was fired from Baylor.
Posted on 10/12/16 at 7:44 am to monsterballads
Briles was fired for encouraging an environment in the athletic dept that permitted his stud football players to rape & pillage as they pleased. And then not only covered it up, but tried to make it look like the victims were whores. Long ugly story, short version. And he has yet to fully admit his role in any of it. His mea culpa was one of the most distasteful "confessions" I have ever heard. He was ripped for it across the country.

It is going to be O or Jimbo period! Why? Because Jimbo is coming if O does not get the gig. End of discussion.

When i read stuff like this on the internet i wonder what the person is like IRL. Are there reasonable people that I know who are retards online and just hide it in person?

It's not going to end for another couple of months

Whew, I guess we can have Chicken shut down the Coaching Changes Board now. Thanks for the insight doya2, you are saving 2 months of stress for a lot of people.

Doya2 is right in my opinion. I would be very shocked if it's anyone but jimbo.

Thanks for posting
I'm perfectly happy with Petrino. He would be a great coach at LSU. Jimbo Fisher would be an inevitable bust even with all of LSU's talent. This school can do better than that.

he has a 10 million dollar buy out...
with the 2 big scandals that have followed this man, I don't see LSU replacing this man in place of Les Miles
there is no comparison in character.
petrino can coach...but i prefer he do it at UL..

Jimbo wouldnt be a bust at all ASSUMING we give him the $$$ to hire a top flight DC. That's his problem at FSU. He has a limited budget for assistants (why they were unable to retain Pruitt) which has really hurt them defensively. Jimbos QB development, offense, and recruiting with top defensive coaches would be a really good combo IMO.

Exactly. He may get an interview, but highly doubt they would seriously consider that buyout when there are other comparable coaches out there on the market.

Jimbo eventually would be a bust. FSU has a top 10 fb budget but he just couldn't keep a good dc. He could be a bad boss that good personnel can't work with him. Jimbo would be out the door like Miles II in 3-4 years if hired because he could not win big games.

as for Jimbo, I think he'd be very successful at LSU with a staff he wants on the defensive side, meaning give him the budget Leslie had.

Pretty much ANYBODY else with that budget should be super successful.

I probably didn't clarify but they (LSU Admin.) mean keeping Coach O as head coach.

So this Top Five HC, Petrino, walks into a recruit's house & the first question he is asked by the mother " explain what you did with your girl friend and why did you lie to your boss about it?" The negative recruiting he would face would be off the charts, and as in most cases, it is the mother who has the most to say about where her son goes to college.

How did that work out with Heisman trophy candidate, Lamar Jackson?

FSU is in the top 10 in assistant pay
Money was not the reason for Pruitt leaving

Pretty sure Pruitt's zipper stuck in the down position was part of the reason he left FSU

Yeah..... Not hard to find that's why he had to go. FSU matched the offer, but he had to get out of town.
