IIRC his background is defense. He's been a good coach at ND and Cincy before that. ND isn't the same attraction that they were 30+ years ago. Getting them in the playoffs is pretty impressive. My main concern with going after Kelly is that they might be in the playoffs again this year.

So tired of hearing this. It happened in 2010. If he murdered that kid or was found grossly negligent he would be in prison.
LSU has way better facilities anyway. We don’t need kids in manlifts to video practice. That’s on ND.

I think He’s be better at LSU than ND.
ND is a premier program but so is Michigan, and Nebraska. None of them Have natural recruiting territories. ND relies on mid west Catholics.
It is a little easier to recruit to the SEC and LSU.
My biggest concern is age. He’s 60. Regardless of what Saban is doing this guy could be done in 5 years.

Age doesn't matter when it comes to Saban. He recruits are the very most elite level.

It's unlikely that our next coach will be at LSU for even 10 years. We've been playing football since the 1800s and have only had 3 coaches stay 10 years or longer.

Kelly is far and away the best coach in America (college) behind saban.
Actually I’m not sure if even saban can do what he did at notre dame.
