This is far preferable to programs hanging banners for “Co-SEC West Championships” because they have nothing else to show for the last 50 years.

Co-SEC West Champions?

Sorry….. didn’t get the name of that western division school who never played in Atlanta. While you are going on about low ceilings and all.

And of course… you resort to history to try to make a point about the present. What does historical records have to do with modern times?

Would the US struggle with Vietnam now? Is the British navy still superior to the US? Spain still a world power? How are the Romans doing? That new fangled thing called fire is really something isn’t it?

And he is trying to give MSU fans a hard time about “low ceilings”

So what was the other teams’ excuse if the west was beyond down?

The ACC has been hammered garbage for years and they still let Clemson play for championships. Anyone putting a condition on that?

It was a weird time. The good teams were bad, and the bad teams reaped the benefits.

was told on Thursday of last week that Chadwell's agent had told MSU no.

Looks like this is now confirmed. I know Lebby has prepped for an interview. As of now, I think he's the leading candidate.

Unexciting hire if true. Might as well have stuck with Arnett if we are going with a coordinator with very little coaching experience

No coaches to power programs? How about Murray Warmouth and Darrell Royal?

Warmoth won a national championship at Minnesota and Royal won 3 at Texas. Of course, State fired both.

Lebby wouldn’t win the press conference but he would be a solid hire. I think he and Kiffin are very similar scheme wise

Uh, Darrell Royal disagrees

Sorry, that was included in my original post.

For clarification and potential comprehension issues.

Since 1955, after Royal, Dan Mullen is the only coach of Mississippi State to receive another opportunity in the P5.

Moorhead is currently the head coach of Akron, not a P5 school and has 4 wins in two years.

That's a lie.

Who cares if anyone left State for another job? Who does OM have? Tubberville?

2016 is the only season we made a bowl with a 5-7 record. Then 2020 in the Covid year with all SEC schedule. All other years we were 6-6 or better when we got a bowl invite.

You’ve also established you have a very low ceiling with a single ten win season in the last 23 years (

Good job cherry picking 23 years since 24 years ago we had a 10 win season

Missed this one. Sorry about Chadwell. What I post on a message board has no bearing on your coaching search.

Fine, let’s not “cherry pick” and go back to 1903. It’s three. Three times since 1903. Are you happy now? Congrats, I guess on that storied history.

Go check again pumpkin. You’re looking at your record after bowl, not before.

You suck, you’ve always been a shitty school. I was being nice before but you want to talk about just how inept y’all are as a school. That’s cool with me.

He’s the real deal as a coach and it would be a huge get if MS State got him. They will have competition though. A&M should be calling too.
