This sounds like a classic Jimmy Sexton production.

Saban isn't stupid. Jumping in the Cleveland dumpster fire is not a smart move. Money isn't the issue with him I'm sure.

Not about the money with Saban. It's about a challenge. According to Terry, "it's not as much fun winning now~..... heard that on Coward's show today. It's about the challenge of building a winning team, bringing it out of the dumpster. Kind of like what he did with Alabama.

Ego.

Terry was happy at LSU.

What was wrong with the comment? Anyone feeling a sense of rejection would be misguided. He left LSU for an NFL job. I don't think Bama fans would mind as much if he left for an NFL job b/c it isn't a flat rejection.

I agree with much of what you are saying, but what would you be thinking in about 3 years from now if Saban had left for Cleveland this Christmas and later decided he was too old for the NFL schedule and wanted to come back to coach college at Auburn to finish his career? Saban would be able to try to do the hat trick for crystal footballs at 3 different schools.

But it would be interesting...and a continuation of a now familiar cycle.

Once Saban left Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich., said one source, he has never traveled north of Tennessee.

The Dolphins never played north of Tennessee in either of those years?

Also wasn't Mark Ingram from Michigan? Did he never have an in home?

Let's be real here. Saban leaving Alabama has a slight impact on LSU's prestige. If Saban leaves then Miles becomes the only current coach in the SEC with a BCS championship.

So these Alabama guys saying it wouldnt be easier for LSU, think again. I say this as an LSU fan and one who actually likes Saban and Alabama. I'm a rare fan over here. I do see it as a net gain for LSU and a bigger net loss for Alabama. To say otherwise is a bias.

So if you see an LSU fan hoping this happens now you understand. It doesn't necessarily have to do with a fans feeling towards Saban. I think you guys need to get over that.

Nick Saban has made LSU fans arse quit. They don't want him to stay at BAMA so they can try to beat him. They are ready for him to get the hell on somewhere! LOL

LIke what he did with Alabama? What about LSU, talk about a dumpster fire. LSU had not won a championship since the invention of the face mask until Saban got to Baton Rouge.

Remember this, Alabama is always relevant simply because we are Alabama.
