Nick Saban has made LSU fans arse quit. They don't want him to stay at BAMA so they can try to beat him. They are ready for him to get the hell on somewhere! LOL

Miles is 3-4 against him. Not exactly great but not like saban owed lsu except last 2 games.

Les Miles is a hard nose football coach and I have nothing but respect for him. He isn't afraid of Saban.

LSU fans on the other hand.......they are ready for Saban to go!

It's the last two that hurt the most.

He didn't exactly own LSU the last time out.

Not a guarantee that Cleveland:
Hires Lombardi
Fires Shurmur
Offers Saban

So there is no opening in Cleveland so what are we even talking about?

also remember this...it did not take you long at all to slide off a considerable distance after the bear was gone. stallings brought you back nicely but after he left there was another big slide. before saban you were certainly 2nd fiddle in the state.

Actually, 3-3. Anyone with half a brain realizes Bama didn't earn the right to participate in the rematch.

Meh. Claiming undeserved titles in a corrupt polling system hardly equates to relativity.

Bama was pretty solid under Perkins and Curry in the 1980's. Maybe not Bryant era good but still in upper tier of SEC despite a lot of BS going on then with the good old boy network that held the program back. I don't think will happen again if Saban leaves.

After Stallings, Bama was on probation for 10 years. That makes it nearly impossible to have sustained success. Combine sanctions with a quartet of incompetent coaching hires and you have a real clusterfrick. I look at the fact that during that decade in purgatory Bama had three 10 win seasons, an SEC title, and another first in the SEC West where they were prohibited from playing for the conference championship as proof that Bama football is relevant even when they are at rock bottom.

Outside of Saban and Bryant, two of the best coaches ever, you've won 1 legit title

Argue over how national titles should be claimed, but Frank Thomas and Wallace Wade are still in the College Football Hall of Fame for their accomplishments at Alabama. The football program is more than just Paul Bryant and Nick Saban. Regardless, a program is only good as the coach leading it, even when there are inherent advantages a program may offer.

In the last 50 years, Bama's had eight different head coaches in charge for at least one full season and every single one of them left Alabama with at least one 10+ win season. If that statistic doesn't speak volumes about how much Bama football elevates its coaches, I don't know what does. Can anybody see Mike Shula or Mike Dubose having a 10+ win season at any other program?

Good for you. LSU the last 60 years:

Dietzel, won the NC and 2 SEC titles

Cholly Mac, College Football Hall of Famer

Jerry Stovall took us to two BCS bowls despite being totally unqualified and taking over in Shulaesque fashion after Bo Rein died suddenly right after we hired him.

Arnsparger was a badass, won the SEC.

Mike Archer won 10 games and the SEC

Dinardo won 10 games.

Saban and Les obviously both awesome. 135-36 combined record to date.

Only Curley couldn't get it done at any point. That's a testament for how bad that POS was.

So as you can see, Bama is not alone in this department.

Whatever...pre-Saban you were still elevated to only 2nd fiddle behind Auburn.

Whatever...pre-Saban LSU had 8 losing seasons in the 90s and was looking up to Mississippi State from the cellar.
