If he goes it's because he wants to coach for 8 or 9 more years, if he stays it's because he only wants to coach a couple of years.

Browns offering Saban $100mm or Saban turning down $100mm

Saban's a great coach, but he's not worth $100 mill, though.

I agree, I would tell him not to let the door hit him in the arse if he asked me for 100Million and I was Mal Moore.

Admit it, you're sweating.....

even if it's just a little bit.

PS - I think Saban stays, but stranger things have happened. 100 mil is pretty good, no?

This is some decent trolling. The tone of the article is the exact opposite of the way you make it sound. Solid selective quoting as well. Leaving out the most important paragraph of the peice is a nice move.

quote:

I have now have had three credible sources – two in the NFL and one in the college ranks – swear to me that Saban has no attraction whatsoever to Lombardi. One insisted Saban wouldn’t work with Lombardi “in a thousand years.” Another on Monday said there is “zero chance” Saban would leave Alabama to work alongside Lombardi in Cleveland.

Not even a little bit.

Even if he did leave (hes not) he would leave a dynasty and as loaded a cabinet as possible.

Saban ain't coaching ten more years anyway, wherever he is.
Bama fans hated me for saying something to this effect.

Saban will not coach into his 70's.

Haslam is one stupid frick if that's true. You offer that kind of money to Bill Cowher or Tony Dungy not to a guy who had mixed results in the NFL.

Well, I guess the money is excessive even for those two but my point is that you have that kind of money to throw around, you go for the sure thing. Reminds me of the Celtics giving Rick Pitino $50 million in the mid '90s. How did that work out for them?
