You are completely wrong. If LSU wins out and gets a Sugar Bowl birth "which is the most likely scenario if LSU wins out" while going 6-1 since Miles firing while beating Ole Piss, Arky, UF and A&M with only a 10pt loss to Bama in a very hard fought game. Alleva's hands will be tied, he will literally have NO choice but to take the Interim title off Coach Oeaux's name and I will take bets on that!

He might not get it but do we just want to hire some coach because he's supposedly a rising star or because it looks good to people around the country. I thought it was all about winning football games. You can't even make comparisons to Orgeron now and when he was at Ole Miss. He admits he made a lot of stupid mistakes and he learned from them, plus he learned a lot from Pete Carroll while at USC. The men can flat out recruit, and let's face it, that's where it all starts. I don't have a problem keeping Orgeron because I think he'll go out and get a really good OC, keep Aranda, and do a great job of being a recruiter, motivator and CEO of this program. If this would be the case I think that Aranda might then become the "Coach in Waiting." I'm not really sold on Herman because I don't feel that you can compare coaching at UH with the week in, week out grind of the SEC especially the SEC West. As far as Jimbo, I didn't care for him when he was at LSU before and he's proven to be pretty average considering his talent. Something else, what happens to our recruiting class if we don't retain Orgeron? The talking heads on ESPN said a couple of weeks back that it is unprecedented to have only lost 1 recruit after a HC is fired. That's because of Orgeron guys, believe it or not. Is it going to happen, probably not, but it might not be as far fetched as you think. If we win the next two games and get a Sugar Bowl berth, maybe hiring a D-Line coach might not be such a bad idea. And as far a being the laughing stock of the College Football World, keep winning and the laughing will stop and the "Talking Heads" will shut the F_ _ K up. Geaux Tigers!

Those are some very "mute" points you have there for sure

If he had acted the way he looked on the sideline in the locker room LSU would have gotten destroyed in that game. I'm sure coach O will be back to his normal self for the Florida game.

Why can't O supporters use paragraphs?

If they would have kept their mouths shut last year jimbo would probably be sitting with 1 loss to bama and a shot at a rematch 1vs4 playoff game. Someone should beat the shite out of Scott Rabadumbass and I won't ever read any of his crap again. I'm still pissed about that situation.

Does Edwards not care that LSU just shelled out $9 million to buy out a coach?

They've already fired Miles and have to "shell" out the buyout genius. They're hiring a new coach either way, which no one is going to work for free. Go back to school kid.

I'm glad you can recognize genius when you see it, but you didn't have to restate what I said. Or do you not know that "shelled" is past tense, meaning it already happened?

Maybe it is you, child, that needs to go back to a place of education. When do they teach past and present tense? 3rd grade? That might suit you best.

Man, some people.

IF this scenario plays out, it will be whoever the new coach is on the side lines for the Sugar Bowl. This hire will be made at the conclusion of the regular season. Don't be so foolish as to think O gets the job just because the rest of SEC is sucking it up too.

Up 38-10 he would have normally cracked a smile. He did not smile the whole game that I saw. At the LR touchdown club they treated the guy like the celebrity he is.

I think they're allowing O's name to be in the mix to keep the momentum going with the team, but not seriously considering it. A new coach needs to be hired after texas A&M but still let O coach for the bowl game while the new coach is on the recruiting trail.

I agree, and the new coach might very likely coach the bowl game.

Yeah, cause that happens all the time.

What a duck. When is the last time a coach was hired and was on the sideline coaching his new team, with a staff he likely won't keep?

Lets say the guy's name is Ed Ollinger, interim HC at another power 5 school. Good recruiter but failure as an HC several years ago, has only been an 8 game interim, and a d-line coach since. Would LSU go hire this guy?

If Ed Olinger would have been named LSU interim coach and proceeded to completely turn the team around and kicked evey ones arse we played and went toe to toe with bama for 3 and a half quarters, I would say he would be given serious consideration for the HC job.

Are you related to Ed Orgeron? You're overly passionate about your points on this topic.

I have a theory on why coach O acted the way he did Saturday night.

He coached at Arkansas in his first PAID coaching gig. He has friends that are associated with the program, including Stephen Jones - son of Jerry. His wife is from Arkansas. Arkansas had him as the main speaker at their touchdown club a couple years ago. It was all Arkansas alum who invited him and did the speeches prior to his.

Most importantly, he is not just auditioning for the LSU job. He knows Bert may not be at Arkansas much longer. If he had the Ark job his wife may actually move there to be with him.

He did not in any way want to show up Ark in his convincing win.

You are a special kind of stupid.
