Jobs are filling up pretty quick. I guess teams would like for him to have more experience

Even being able to interview is impressive.

I don't think Joe or anyone else expected him to. It's more about going through the process and learning.

There are a lot of washed up NFL coaches with experience that get recycled every off season.

He's holding out for the Bengals next year.

When this happens every year it confirms my idea that it is not hard to be a mediocre football coach in the NFL/College if you have the right friends. Familiarity seems to be the #1 criteria when it comes to a lot staff hires often trumping results on the field.

Yeah it kind of seems like the NFL is one big good-old-boy network, and once you are allowed in it remains somewhat easy to stay in (at least when compared to being allowed in the first time).

For example, I will never understand how Adam Gase got hired as a HC for the second time.

Except tRant. They would hire Brady, and Mawae, in a heartbeat.

All these teams know the real truth. It was Ensminger's offense in 2019 and Brady was just along for the ride.

Except the majority of the new coaching hires are coming from College this year with little to no NFL experience.

Sean Payton interviewed all over for years before he found a good fit in New Orleans

I bet he’s waiting for the Saints to grab him once Payton quits after a year without Brees

Any chance he wants to be a HC at the college level?

He will be great wherever he goes. He has max another year or two before someone desperate looking for young injection in their organization comes looking.

Umm, I don't think he is holding out. Would be cool to see him with Burrow, though.
