At the time several weeks ago he wasn't. He was behind Kiffin, Sark, Helfrich and Riley.

•Helfrich was eliminated after O got cold feet about his actual play calling experience
•Riley wants to be a HC and stay at OU until then.
Not to mention Kevin Wilson as well who's blatant disregard for concussion protocol was his undoing

I don't get being upset with people because they are wrong.
The guy is sharing information he has. I mean, I'm disappointed that a guy I thought had reliable information actually didn't. But, I'm not angry at him for it. He's just not somebody whose info can be taken as truth. There are thousands of people on this site like that.
If he were pretending to have info that he truly didn't hae, or was inferring things based on other rumors and selling them as true sources, then maybe I'd understand calling him out. But, if his info just isn't as close to the decision makers as he thought, I don't get the heartache.

This is a great example of what I'm referencing.
I'm assuming this is actual "insider" feedback and not just your rationalization based on the rumor mill. If it's the latter, you deserve everything you get. If it's the former, it's actually great insight even if you didn't get the info before the hire was made.

Canada was not on any radar until he was listed as a Broyles finalist. Wasn't contacted until Kiffin kept interviewing for every job HC in the US
