This is so stupid. BK came down here from frigging South Bend Indiana with his whole family and they don't have problems.

People who always talk about "problem areas" of cities, are never anywhere near those areas. Those dumbasses just like to hear themselves talk.

I've been to Gainesville. It reminded me of any old redneck pinetree town in Louisiana. The people? More redneck than i imagined.

Yes this is true but BR encircles all the good and in recent years, that encirclement has engulfed the good. It's like a closing shite hole collapsing on you consuming everything and that's exactly the problem with BR. It's getting worse and worse with not solutions.

Gainesville is a dump, the last time I was there for a game I saw someone selling live pigs off the side of the road on the way to the stadium.

Away from Orlando and coastal Florida, it’s like the worst parts of Mississippi.

I've been there several times. It's just part of South Georgia. I-75 and the Florida drivers on it ride in the left lane going 5 below the speed limit.

That’s not UFla’s top booster by a long shot. There’s old old old citrus and cattle money that makes this guy pedestrian.

There is nothing to Gainseville . I drove through there with my dog . She couldn’t find an Arby’s . She wasn’t happy . We drove on . Just sayin’ .

I love the state of Florida, but it has more bumpkin rednecks than any other state, and most of them live between Gainesville and Tallahassee. Most of the other people you meet won’t look too different from the ones you see in Baton Rouge.

I’ve lived n BR 40+ years in several middle to upper-middle class neighborhoods - and most parts do NOT suck.

Problem is you don't have to live in Gainesville. St. Augustine and Jacksonville are a rock throw away.

Ehhh. Me too and easily more than half of it sucks in 2025, but there are some nice areas, and if you're rich, the shitty parts don't matter that much to you.
