Funny how this is the only thing Florida can cling to right now when their "town" and campus for that matter suck worse.

yup. went through many times on my way for travel ball to chatanooga. not impressed with all tuscaloser and birmingham looks like a dump. i'll suspect it is like all big cities good and bad.

in my time in oxford it actually seems like a nice quaint town. but no way lane stays for that.

For the record he said he was very confident (willing to bet confident) last week

This reads as someone who's hedging

True, but how do they compare crime rate wise?

Is this where someone points out that blue chip talent areas and crime rate are directly proportional?

Baton Rouge vs Gainesville is like picking between the left armpit or the right armpit

You all forget that Lane will never be north of Florida Blvd except to go to the airport.

The areas that he will be in are perfectly fine and safe. He's going to be hanging with the Bocage crowd, not 70805.

You can travel all around South Baton Rouge and be perfectly fine with plenty of nice areas.

You suspect right. Most interstates go through crappy parts of town. B'ham has some absolutely beautiful old neighborhoods.
