Just now at his 12:30 presser when asked about the interest Brady has and will receive.

Also said they have a plan in place for him and it’s all good.

Yea, that plan is to make him OC at the end of the season. No way in hell they let him get away.

I'll be interested to see if any NFL teams make a play for him, particularly those with a young QB who needs developing.

Joe Brady did not “develop” Joe Burrow. He may have implanted plays and helped receivers get better but this guy has no history of developing QBs.

This is actually one area where college is peculiar. There may be 3-5 coordinators in the NFL that make what Brady will make at LSU, and no NFL team is going to pay a guy who was a glorified grad assistant when he was in the league that kind of money.

I guess I figured that, as passing game coordinator and as highly touted as he is by LSU fans, that he must have had some impact on the transformation of Joe Burrow between last season and this season.

Means they're about to shell out another $2 mill for an assistant.

This.

Burrow was "developed" by his family of football players and coaches, Urban Meyer, and then maybe Steve Ensminger for over 2 years. Brady changed the plays and improved the WR drills in the last year, but I don't think he can be credited with being some QB whisperer. Burrow came to LSU already a badass.

Oh you mean stick to the plan - pay Ed less than market rate and get the best assistants possible?

Weird they’d keep doing what works.

yeah he was Mr. Ohio, raised by coaches, and spent 3 years at OSU under Meyer/Ryan Day

Brady was hired in late January 2019

At what point do you realize you're wasting $4 million on a mascot/Head Coach?

I am by no means a Cheeri-O, but if he keeps recruiting like he is and there are no scandals and he stays out of the way of elite coordinators, who cares?

About the same point you realize that mascot has led them to 12-0 and headed for a likely SECC and CFP berth?

Is it a waste? Who is doing the organization of everything? Who is managing everyone and everything? Who is leading the recruiting?

Is a CEO a waste of money if he has a vp over every division that is paid handsomely? You do realize the model we are using is pretty much used by every big time corporation in America?

Same as most NFL teams use? Same as dabo uses?

The same point as when Clemson realizes they are burning $10M on a mascot head coach lol your take is terrible and you like most other elitists think he is empty upstairs because he has a Cajun accent.

Could be because he's never even been a coordinator, and is winning with Les Miles program. (Meaning it had everything it needed to succeed except coaching) Ole Miss was who he is, and if he can't keep spending over $4 million/yr on coordinators, it'll be who he becomes again.

Brady signed an extension a few weeks ago. Obviously that can change but I feel like he knows he is in a good spot to set himself up for a HC gig in 2-3 years.
