Hello?!? He is the OC. He's calling the plays. He's stuck in the 1987 offense. Tom Herman's greatest success as head coach was when his shitty offense broke down and Greg Ward bailed them out with his feet.

I’m still trying to understand what Herman’s contribution actually is. Apparently he needs someone else to be his OC.

Every head coach is a CEO first and foremost before any x and o.

So he gets credit for recruiting them when he worked for Miles?

In that case I could say Dave Aranda recruited all of this team

He was the recruiting coordinator, so he should get credit.

LSU paid Cam and Chavis 1.7 each.

I think We’re fine paying good coordinators agora more in a rising market.

ensminger needs to go, anybody but the most delusional knows ensminger does nothing and let joe run the show

hew wanted to stay retired and didnt even want the job so sign brady to a 6-7 year deal and let ensminger retire but the better not let brady walk because they cant afford to give both contracts

Herman just demoted his OC, he’s so confident in his play calling genius that he’s coming after LSU’s future OC.
Saban, defensive genius, has had a shite defense this year.

Orgeron is turning out to be one of the best and most prescient hires in the last 20 years.

I absolutely agree that Brady is integral, but I think you’re “short-changing” Ensminger’s role in this season. He has the perfect balance of experience and lack of ego that has made this a magical mix between Burrow-Brady-Ensminger-Orgeron. One of the BIGGEST reasons Orgeron was finally able to relinquish total control of the offense and changing our offense to fit modern times was because of his 100% trust in Ensminger managing that process of change.

Steve Ensminger can stay at LSU as long as he wants as far as I’m concerned. We all know Joe Brady is about to become either co-OC or stand-alone OC, but I 100% disagree with the notion that Ensminger needs to go. Ensminger is all about what’s best for LSU. If he wants to retire or bump down to a mere assistant coach, so be it, but no one will be “forcing” Steve Ensminger out of our program or to do anything he doesn’t want to do.

Yep, the guy that’s been there for years is the reason for the drastic change in results. Not the new guy.

At what point does Orgeron get credit for putting together a roster and staff?
