This is likely a Sexton ploy to get Fisher more money. I seriously doubt he wants to go to Texas A&M.

Fisher will not get another raise. They will put more cash into the pool for assistants.

despite what Tennessee fans think, A&M is a much better job.

Then again Jimmy Sexton could have carte blanche to work his magic behind the scenes. He’ll create all kinds of chaos of bullshite & lies just to get Jimbo another year tacked onto his contract and a 15% increase in the budget for assistants.

Why does he want out? If FSU fires him they will owe him 40 million. His ex wife lives there and I seriously doubt she would want to live in College Station. His sick son gets great care where he is at and driving 2 hours round trip to Houston is not feasible for a time consumed SEC coach.
