No, but let's not sit here and pretend that FSU isn't set up perfectly for a very quick turn around. Miami is another example of that. The ACC was not the SEC at that time either.

From my view, I would absolutely prefer if Jimbo does NOT go to A&M because he can recruit well, and also is a proven good coach. I think something has changed this year --- his team consisting of Top 5 recruiting classes of 4 and 5 star athletes totally quit on him this year. His brand still has value, but another year or two of the same, then his value for high-valued, longer term contracts goes down.

Im hoping Jimbo doesn't go to aTm just for the simple fact that it will make me hate Alleva even more. I don't want him to be the joke of an AD I know he is.
If Jimbo hypes going to aTm only to turn it down, I'll be able to point and laugh at the Aggies, like I feel the rest of the nation did to us.

Nah, but i don't want to see UF, Tennessee and aTm make home run hires after the LSU shite show.
Its partly because I don't want to see those programs become super powerful, and partly because it will make Alleva look even more like a donkey.

As time goes by, O will out perform both Herman and Jimbo whose team of Top 5 recruiting classes of 4 and 5 star studs 100% quit on him this year. Herman will probably be successful at Texas because they have the best resources, city, set up, and conference to be successful. O and the Tigers will kick their arse in 2019, however.

People laugh at you for criticizing LSU whom you have beaten in over 2 decades, and trying to make fun of our coach who handed you your heads last year, and will beat you down again this year. Coach O will continue this trend regardless of who you hire - including Jimbo whose team 100% quit on him this year.
