I've said it on this board before, but while I still think Jimbo is a good coach, I've cooled on him quite a bit this season. He has seemingly lost the locker room. 7.5M for him at this point seems absurd, but death, taxes and aggy overpaying their HC.

but frick me if Ed goddamn Orgeron ain't 13-5 at LSU so far. Soon to be 14-5. After Troy, no way in hell I'd have thought we'd make a comeback like this. I have to give him his credit.
And really just glad we aren't looking for a coach right now considering it seems half the damn SEC is as well.

Les only coached for 11, and Saban only loss less than 3 games once. Plus FSU out recruits everyone in that conference. LSU does not.

I work with quite a few aggies. They never talk football until about 2 weeks before the season starts and the conversation is always something like this:
Aggies:"Hey man, we got it this year. We are taking the SEC and national title."
Me: "What makes you think that?"
Aggies: "Have you seen the new hot tubs in our locker room? Those things are at least $50k each."
Me: "So A&M is winning the SEC & national title because of hot tubs?"
Aggies: "Have you seen em? Man, you ought to see the towels they use."
Yesterday one of them said - I'm not kidding- "We could get Saban if we really wanted. Our offer would make Texas look like a high school."
Aggies:"Hey man, we got it this year. We are taking the SEC and national title."
Me: "What makes you think that?"
