Clemson to have co defensive coordinators

Seems lazy. You’d think they’d try to replace the best DC in the country with someone elite and not just promoting co-DC’s from within the program. Either way, glad to see Clemson finally going down the shitter

Dabo is really big about promoting from within.

His CEO mettle is about to be tested with this philosophy. He risks tearing down the foundation of the culture he built if he makes too radical of changes.

It can work if Dabo makes it clear what their roles are and who is actually calling the plays during the game. I feel like these “co-coordinator” situations are typically done just to make 2 people happy with a title and pay, but the buck always stops with 1.

That said, I know nothing about the competence of either one, so can’t speak to that. But it’s probably the biggest hire(s) of Dabo’s career.

Eh, I think Ed O would have read tRant and went hire a guy from our list. Wouldn’t have had the stones to promote Corey Raymond. We’ll see how it works out
