aranda isn't the most effeminate guy around. that doesn't always jibe well in the south.

Baylor expecting better than this is absurd. They are at best the 3rd biggest program in the state with 5-6 other programs fighting them for 3rd pretty hard.

I haven’t paid attention to Aranda and Baylor really, but I’m just saying avg 6-6 with a great season every 3-4 years seems like a fair expectation.

He’s a subdued Christian guy that keeps his emotions in check.

Better that than Fat Elko who looks like he’s going to have a heart attack screaming.

He wasn’t a great HC but other than the “one of us” (which was hilarious) drama free and didn’t lash out at the fans. Upheld a Christian persona at Baylor.

Dad played at Baylor and started off hot but has remained pretty mediocre since then.

This guy was begging for the A&M job and then the Houston job. I’d imagine he’d jump at a Baylor offer if he were to get it considering his last couple of years at UTSA have been meh after a strong start to his tenure there.

I've been told that Riley is their #1 choice followed by Matt Rhule (?)

You must have missed out on the Art Briles years and when Matt Rhule was there. Hell Aranda took Rhule's players and kicked Lane's arse in the Sugar Bowl.

Set low expectations and you get low level results.
