You LSU Fans thought he was great when he was going there.

Face it, if he were your coach, you'd slobbing his knob just like the Aggies are now.

people keep saying this while ignoring that A&M was/is putting together a fringe top 10 class with a lameduck coach in a 7 win season

I think that speaks to Sumlins ability to recruit more than it does to the branding of A&M.

I think if Sumlin had stayed we'd have lost some guys and landed around #15 at best. Jimbo is killing it on the recruiting trail, and we look to finish in the top 10 if we close well. Maybe as high as 7, if we close very well. That he is doing this with no DC is amazing, really.

I’m not sold on anything until NSD. Things look promising but let’s not count our chickens until it’s over.

JF has made an impact with (at least) getting kids that weren’t looking at us to at least give us a look.

Aggie didn’t mess around this time. Not saying he is another Saban, but he will have y’all challenging for SEC titles. Alleva better pray O pans out, because he will have a yearly reminder about the decisions HE made.

Depends how our coaching farms in Baton Rouge and Tallahassee are looking - any elite coordinators or up and comers that need a raise in 2018 if we need to tweak a few things? Chavis ended up being middle of the road at best but we’ve clearly established a pipeline directly to LSU for assistant coaches who are ready to jump to the next level.

If by “next level” you mean become the doormat and losing 7 straight to the school you got the coach from then kudos!

Thanks again for taking Chavis. We are very happy with Aranda

A&M enjoys paying out the arse for mediocrity. Let them make more mediocre coaches very wealthy

That sentiment will change after we steal him. Suddenly he’ll be terrible and you were begging to get rid of him.

I'm admittedly a bit of a masochist, so I hope it's Aranda.
