That sentiment will change after we steal him. Suddenly he’ll be terrible and you were begging to get rid of him.

Just like whenever you don't sign him you will be here saying y'all didn't want him?

Funny how A&M fan's entire self-esteem comes from the program "stealing" coaches away from programs where there's obvious instability (Fran at probation Bama or Chavis anticipating Miles' firing).

And so far A&M is a resounding 0-fer with those hires.

We'll see if Jimbo can overcome the soft, bottom-boy culture in College Station. Only a couple have in 100 years without blatantly cheating.

A&M would be better off putting 11 turnstiles on the field.

3) FSU

This checks out.

It's called FSU brand recruiting. Jimbo did it very well. He won't have the same luxury at A&M.

What’s a&m’s average class the past 30 years? Sherman and Fran were god awful on the field and the recruited top 15-20.

sec move, Jff, texas being down, and new Kyle And Sumlin has basically kept us at our average save for two classes.

It’s gonna be alright ;)

I am genuinely curious as to who you guys are going to end up with. Obvious, but this hire is critical for Jimbo.

I'm also hearing it's a done deal. Congrats Aggies. Bud Foster is a hell of a football coach.

Supposedly not Foster or Elko or Aranda. I have no idea who it is at this point. It’s unreal how under wraps they’ve kept this.

Bump this.

Anyone hearing anything? There aren't even rumors of rumors. No idea how A&M have kept it this quiet.

Maybe they don’t have their guy and that’s why it’s so quiet?

Aranda has a 500 mile clause that basically says if he takes a non-head coaching job (within 500 miles of LSU) he would have to pay LSU 40% of his salary. If Aranda does this with this in his contract and not get a raise or something, Joe Aleva must go.

But I say it's unlikely given this thing on his contract.
