Anyone seeing anything on aTm DC hire?

One of my buddies here in Texas is an Aggie and he was telling me the other night that Billy Liucci of Texags was saying he knows who the DC will be and it’s a huge name but he can’t say who right now. Supposedly it will be announced after whoever’s bowl game. Could it be Aranda? Maybe Venables?

If it was Aranda what not announce it now? LSU isn't in the playoff so there is no reason to hold it off.
It would make sense if it was Mel Tucker or Brent Venables because they are in the playoff and they would make an announcement after they are done.

If it were me I would throw the brinks truck at Jim Leonard from Wisky.
Best case scenario, you get a young defensive guru, much like LSU did

I live in College Station, I work amongst the brass, and there is 0% chance it is Dave Aranda. For as much money the Aggies think they have(which is a lot), we are paying O 3.5 million....we have leverage where they think they do....they could never outbid us with 7.5 guaranteed tied to Jimbo....NEVER.
