It’s the way this circus works. There is what’s really going on and then there’s about 10,000 TD experts filling in the gap between hope and reality. Mix in a little hyper sensitivity, add a few twitter posts topped with some “sauces” and the party cranks up. Hard for me to believe that an organization making a decision that involves millions and millions of dollars both in terms of costs and potential future revenues of the flagship program is going to include a fan message board as part of their process. Also hard to believe that anyone involved in that process is going to post out here. So grab the popcorn and enjoy the show. The squirrels are in charge here.

If he comes here, Sexton knows we won’t be too concerned with another college taking Lane so he’ll start floating every NFL opening in front of our administration.
It’ll be like when Saban was here x 100.
If I were an AD, I wouldn’t avoid Sexton clients, but they would start my evaluation at -10 while everyone else started at 0.

Not an LSU fan but Dillingham from ASU is probably the best deal you could get for a much lower price. He’s coached at a P5 school and has been to the playoffs. You don’t need a coach with the winningest record of all time to make the playoffs now.

Dillingham, I think is great, but if you take time to listen to his interviews, he describes his job as his dream job, and the city as a Paradise...

That is how Skip felt about the Saban back and forth with Miami. Pretty sure it would have been worth it if Saban would have still been the LSU Coach.

To me kiffin is such an embarrassment. Dude is at the pinnacle of a career with a team fighting for a title and he is making it a circus for attention.

Once you let your hope subside and come to the realization this was all a ploy by Sexton with all this smoke and leaked information. You'll be less bothered by it. We will know who will actually be our Coach next weekend. This allows us to move on sooner than anticipated.

No shade but if you’re exhausted from this board, you should probably take a break from it. I guarantee we will see many more reports of “it’s done, he’s coming” and “it’s not looking good at the moment but we are still in it” threads. This is what this board does during these times. It’s kind of addicting.
