Not a choke. That girl from USC just went out and took it from Purdue.

Purdue wins that race and UGA wins the national title in women's track and field.

The Purdue chick ran the 2nd fastest leg... it just so happened to be 52 seconds. This could very well be one or the clutchest moments in sports. True definition of putting the team on her back. She out ran every runner in that last leg by over 2 seconds. Literally incredible.

There is zero choking involved here. That chick from SC smoked everybody on that leg. Every other team had a chance to catch Purdue and nobody else even came close.

Wow. That SC chic was flying down the home stretch. Pretty crazy.

Why do we always make fun of the loser rather than celebrate the winner?

You get an individual national title for the 4x400. They don't mean the team title. Although this did cost UGa the team title.

Maybe you mean to lose national title at the event. But overall, Purdue wasn't winning the National Title.

Atta way to do absolutely zero research before posting this. 1) Purdue has zero chance of winning the title 2) USC won that race. Purdue didn’t “choke” it.

I don't think Purdue lost the national championship here. They cost Georgia their chance at a national championship.

Go Ellis! That was impressive.

That was so damn impressive. Literally kept saying there is no way the USC chick is the one that closes in on her and then BAM! Unbelievable last stretch by that chick.

"Hey everybody! Let's be voyeurs to some young people's woe and sorrow!" Sorry. Not going to participate. "But, muh sports!" Sad

We see a loser in every game that is played. Get over it.
