This will never take off. The city of Miami has no interest in another stadium. Where the city messed up was tearing down the Orange bowl. Should have sold it to UM and built the Marlins stadium up where Hard Rock is.

I like it. The open end reminds me of the Orange Bowl

The next hurricane to hit south Florida is going to blow that fragile looking stadium away.

This again? This tired story has been going around for at least a decade. Miami is a joke and has been since they joined the ACC. They have never won the ACC and went downhill fast as soon as they had to play in a Conference and couldn’t play the joke schedules they used yo play.

That's cool and all, but I don't understand why a billionaire would want to put so much money into something like this. Why not just buy a pro football team?

If you're a billionaire you have to look for ways to spend your money. Why not do something to leave a legacy for your alma mater and community? Seems like exactly the kind of things billionaires should be spending their money on.

Miami's Tropical Park? It's not going to happen. 60,000 capacity - for what?
Parking - where?

Superdome distance to Tulane: 3.4 miles / Tropical Park distance to UM: 3.6 miles

Lagniappe: Small lagoon in background is small; rendition shows beach scene ... LOL

60,000 seat stadium to accommodate an average of 2,000 fans. Smart. That way people can social distance.
