Your math seems off to me. JD needs 437 yards avg. for the 4 games, not 500. Big difference. That is very doable if he is able to play in all 4 games.

With a victory in the 100 fly at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, Mac Neil now owns titles in the event at the following competitions. Consider the collective achievements her version of a Grand Slam.

While not all athletes have the opportunity to compete in every meet Mac Neil has raced, one thing is inarguable: The former Michigan and LSU standout has taken full advantage of her international chances. The only major competition in which Mac Neil has not mined gold is the Pan Pacific Championships, which were last held in 2018 – one year before Mac Neil broke out at the 2019 World Champs. However, Mac Neil does own gold in the 100 butterfly from the 2018 Junior Pan Pacs.

Mac Neil is less than a year away from defending her Olympic crown in the 100 fly at the 2024 Games in Paris.
