Why are you so mad at a true statement

He’s not wrong. Only non LSU fans are ok with LSU not being able to field a capable offense. You sound like one of those non LSU fans who are ok with our offense sucking arse. You’re #NeauxTiger more than anyone.

"They can score the ball and we can't." He forgot about the HEAD COACH...

He is right. But I’m not sure if thats the only difference. We still dont match up on the lines.

Ed says that Steve has done a very good job, yet Bama keeps throwing shutouts against him. Maybe we shouldn’t play the Bama’s & La Tech’s.

In all fairness, Zero is the head coach. Starts and stops with him.

I wonder if he makes the same statement if he was playing in the bowl game… or had another year before he could go pro. I don’t have a problem with the content of what he said… God knows we all know it’s true. But you don’t throw your teammates or your coaches with whom you have gone to battle with over the last few years under the bus. He said because there was no consequences… That’s chickenshit in my book.

He answered a simple question with a simple answer. I'm willing to bet the entire offense agrees with him. Guys know when they are playing like shite and can't defend themselves. Hell, O has said worse shite in press conferences about position units and specific players.

He is right. But why even answer the question? He has every right to sit out the bowl but come on the bowl game hasn't been played. Have a little more class.

Lesson number one. Dont throw your teammates under the bus! I will excuse the words of kid, however someone needs to mentor him

What the hell is everyone whining about? You want to cover this fact up? Score points, win games.

We scored 72 in 4 quarters? Omg no way!

I'm glad he called them out. It's the elephant in the room and everyone just wants to be nice about it. Screw that. Our offense is trash and they need to be called out until it changes.

“Elephant in the room” i see what you did there!

Everyone wants to be nice about it? The offense has been called out after the first few games by 90% of this site.

Datbayoubengal65 months
It needs to be called out in the spotlight by the players and former players (which he technically is at this point), way more often.

Why is everyone saying he's just talking about the offense? "They can score the ball" means ***our D*** can't stop them. "And we can't" means our O can't score on them. It's criticism of both.

Hard to hold back a team with your defense when you can’t get off the field. Energy and momentum from the offense can feed a defense. Otherwise it’s just demoralizing to know your offense won’t help you out.
user avatar
tigerfan008265 months
Just curious if the opposite is true, they can stop the ball and we cant? That's a big statement when he was a part of a defense that almost allowed 600 total yards. Not say hes wrong, but when four touchdowns still lose the game...
user avatar
23hella65 months
Well the offense scored 0 touchdowns so it wouldn’t have matter if the defense held them to 3 points
user avatar
Datbayoubengal65 months
LSU held Bama to 9 points in the first 29 minutes of the game. LSU's offense couldn't even stay on the field for 3 minutes at any point in time during that first half. It took Bama 9 minutes to score in the 3rd, then they didn't score again til 7 minutes into the 4th. LSU had one drive longer than 2.5 minutes THE ENTIRE GAME!!! How in the hell were we supposed to contain the #1 offense at the time with the offense not doing its part?
