My 8 year old has been to 2 LSU /Bama games. We have not scored a point in either game.

Truth Hurts, if the offense would have been on the field longer scoring points, Alabama would potentially had scored less. LSU's offense hope gets into gear before UCF

What the hell is everyone whining about? You want to cover this fact up? Score points, win games.

Good lord....Bama obsessed. Why in the hell was he even asked a question about Alabama?
user avatar

because first week in November 2011 was the last time LSU beat them. because LSU has 10 consecutive scoreless quarters against BAMA in Baton Rouge. Because LSU's win record against BAMA in Baton Rouge is 9-28-2....that's why

He is right. But why even answer the question? He has every right to sit out the bowl but come on the bowl game hasn't been played. Have a little more class.

I wonder if he makes the same statement if he was playing in the bowl game… or had another year before he could go pro. I don’t have a problem with the content of what he said… God knows we all know it’s true. But you don’t throw your teammates or your coaches with whom you have gone to battle with over the last few years under the bus. He said because there was no consequences… That’s chickenshit in my book.

He answered a simple question with a simple answer. I'm willing to bet the entire offense agrees with him. Guys know when they are playing like shite and can't defend themselves. Hell, O has said worse shite in press conferences about position units and specific players.

Why are some many people whining about him throwing his teammates under the bus. Whatever happened to accountability? Did he specifically say it was the offensive players that are responsible for not scoring? No, he said WE meaning the team. Most of y'all got a stick up y'all arse because the kid made a business decision like anyone else would who had life changing money on the line. This offense is a fricking shite show and has been for a long time. How is this even news worthy?

Are you insulating that all the NFL bound seniors across the NCAA that are playing in their bowl games have made a bad "business decision"?

I'm glad he called them out. It's the elephant in the room and everyone just wants to be nice about it. Screw that. Our offense is trash and they need to be called out until it changes.

“Elephant in the room” i see what you did there!

Everyone wants to be nice about it? The offense has been called out after the first few games by 90% of this site.
user avatar
Datbayoubengal65 months
It needs to be called out in the spotlight by the players and former players (which he technically is at this point), way more often.

In college ball it's about recruiting first, culture second, coaching third, and keeping kids in school. LSU recruits talent, Bama selects talent. LSU goes into the Bama game hoping to win, Bama goes in knowing they will win. Bama and LSU play pro-style offenses, but Bama is more focused, it shows every year. LSU plays more freshmen & sophomores, Bama plays more juniors and seniors. FACT- Every school that Bama plays is in the same boat, so whats everybody worked up about. LSU's 2 other losses were hard fought SEC away games against good caliber teams. Then again, I lived through the 90's teams when LSU was out of bowl contention after week 5.

It needed to be said. Unfortunately the truth hurts. Especially when it comes from one of your own. Change can't and won't happen until someone from inside starts the conversation.

Ed says that Steve has done a very good job, yet Bama keeps throwing shutouts against him. Maybe we shouldn’t play the Bama’s & La Tech’s.
