He was running nearly mph in pads against auburn from the 40 in. That is pretty fast. He did slow down at the end. Fournette was hitting 21 I think or somewhere near that in pads.

Some people are saying the times are not legit... I think the hams timing is legit I just think it’s possible his run v could have been wind aided although in a dome setting it may have added another .05 to his time which would have placed him at a 4.34 which is still unbelievably fast.

Amazing placement and touch on the throw. Burrow took some speed off the ball and threw among three defenders.

Would be awesome if there was some kind of football developmental league... wait, oh. Nevermind.

Just think how fast he’s be on a college or pro field if he can run that fast on a high school field!

Muh, just a little inside dig on the stupidity of some when it comes to evaluating playing surfaces.

I tried a few times with my stop watch on the phone while watching the runs and when I timed it just right to start and as good as I could see for the finish, I got 4 times of 4.27, 4.30, 4.29 and 4.32. He is legit 4.3! Therefore he can run under 4.3 after any perfect start which he seems to get out at full speed.

I think more importantly you can tell he’s moving in the video, definitely looks like a 4.3 regardless of the actual time

Goddamn he’s fast. How did he not catch more passes last year? Goes to show how deep we were at WR.

He doesn’t catch that well, or run route that well. Look at his TD catch against Auburn. Caught it with his forearm. Look at his catch against Mississippi State last year. He almost went out of the back of the Endzone and didn’t have awareness of where he was.

It's hard to catch passes when you're on the bench !

I mean ... one of the guys in front of him won the Biletnikoff last year. I think he's talented enough to start on most teams, especially if he develops the hands a little bit. But LSU's three starters last year were all in the top 5-8 of CFB receivers nationally, which is insane. Hope he finds an NFL home, even if a practice squad, to give him time to develop and make some money down the road.

Nick Brossette did an interview last year on Off the Bench and said Dillon was the fastest player on the team.

right like Jamal Adams running a 4.39 at LSU pro day but at the combine he was a 4.5 which looks about right looking at his film

It's all you're going to get now, so get over it, dummy. You can bet NFL teams have smarter people than you counting frames to get a pretty accurate idea of the time

Regardless of who is timing it, you can tell watching him run that 40 that he is fast as hell. His get off is ridiculous.

If you look at Brennan’s highlights, Dillon looks like a real nice receiver option. Ever since I saw that I think he gets drafted

Slightly bigger version of Saints Tommie Lee Lewis. He would be a good developmental prospect , develop consistency and serve as gunner on punt teams.
