John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
The BigLead.com, which is part of the USA Today Sports network, had a very big and bold projection about the LSU-Alabama game in November: Both teams will be undefeated heading into the matchup.
quote:

LSU-Alabama will be a matchup of unbeatens:

OK, so one part of this isn’t bold. Predicting Alabama to lose would be. But I’m not that brave. LSU enters the season with a stifling defense and offensive question marks. In order to get to November blemish-free, the Tigers must beat Miami, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi State. Brace yourselves. It will happen and the teams will enter No. 1 and No. 2.
In order for that to happen LSU has to the run the table and win these eight straight games:

9/2 Miami (FL)
9/8 Southeastern LA
9/15 at Auburn
9/22 Louisiana Tech
9/29 Ole Miss
10/6 at Florida
10/13 Georgia
10/20 Mississippi St.

Could it happen?

Fat chance. LSU will lose to UGA and probably Auburn. Alabama will slip up and get beaten by someone--probably Tennessee.

Tiger4life580393 months
That would be pretty tough to do considering Tennessee doesn’t even appear on LSU’s schedule Mr Treehorn.

And that is why it says Alabama loses to Tennessee.

If this prediction has any chance of becoming true our OL and QB position are much better than consensus from CFB analysts.

I hate to say it, but Miami puts it on the Tigers.

Wow this blows me away the USA today hacks are saying this about the LSU Tigers. I can't believe it and even on this sore some of our fans don't believe in their own team. All I can say is way to go USA Today I'm with you and we beat the shite out of the bumps, but we like to Arkansas like said before. Geaux tigers

It begins with one game, beat Miami.

Miami, overrated. Auburn, at home, probably beats LSU. Florida, easy win for LSU. Georgia, overrated, too young, LSU wins at home. MS State, way too overrated, and stands no chance in Death Valley at night.

TLDR: LSU has one loss to Auburn when they play Alabama in November.

How will Auburn beat LSU? Will it be through the air, on the ground, or a combination of both? I'll pick our pass defense over their pass offense and our rush defense over their rush offense every single time.

GCLSU Fan... It’s at Jordan Hare and many times we have entered there with the better team, only to be taken down by poor officiating.

WTH!!! Can we at least get through Sept. before prognosticating this bullshite?

Didn't we all have the same expectations going into 2017 before Miss State abused us for 30pt win?

We’ll go undefeated, including a win against Bama. We’ll lose to UGA in SECCG. UGA goes to playoff. Bama jumps LSU into playoff. I melt.

I think we loose to Georgia in the regular season and beat them in the rematch in December. Your scenario is deep in the minds of the Crimson Sith-Lords of Birmingham however.

as it stands now, LSU is the champions of the latest game of the century. I think it would be worth it to be undefeated before Alabama even if that meant Alabama won and lsu was no longer the champion of the latest game of the centur

Are u kidding?? LOL Have you seen their schedule?? They'll be unbeaten, don't worry! LSU, I'm not so sue about because they have a much tougher schedule than Alabama. But it would be nice if they could run the table, and then meet Alabama in a battle of unbeatens.

I agree. If he means unbeaten coaches. Saban will be undefeated and Aranda will be 2-0 after Coach O is fired mid season.
