LSU wide receiver Trey Palmer has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to Rivals.

Palmer, a junior from Kentwood, La., caught 30 passes for 344-yards with three touchdowns this past season.

The former four-star prospect is the third LSU receiver to enter the transfer portal, joining Deion Smith and Koy Moore.

This is absolutely how to run a railroad...Can you possibly see giving Ernie Lombardi, Bear Bryant, Bobby Knight, or even Billy Martin attitude??? If a player can get away with giving a coach attitude...the team and the coach will eventually perish...

Just because you hail from Tangy don’t mean you a Heisman talent. Jump ship and your opportunity will vanish

I read somewhere he was late to a meeting and when BK called him out on it, he gave BK attitude... So BK basically told him he could transfer if he didn't like it. Not a 100% reliable source, but if that is how BK rolls, I'm down.

Portal + NIL: College football is the new WWE. Individual players have become bigger than the game. Walter Camp is spinning in his grave.

No shade at the young man, but maybe he could have gone on the other side of the ball and become a skilled cornerback/return specialist. Could get to the league that way and the $ is good for top DBs.

Dropamatic. From casual observer he just wasn’t what we thought he would be or he failed to make the effort to get there. Hope it works out for him. Not a great loss.

I don't like QUITTERS! After 2 years here, you would think his bond with his Tiger teammates would mean something, but I guess selfish people look for greener pastures. Good riddance, QUITTER!

The wrong people get in their heads and create a fantasy world. Then, they meet the real world and have difficulty with 'the PROCESS'.

Hate for him to go, he can be a weapon if he wants it more.

He can’t say they didn’t try to make him an integral part of the offense. Palmer played bunch at WR last year but he did drop a lot of passes and there’s no question he’s been past by Bech, Boutte and Nabors. Good luck to him he’s very talented and was the fastest guy LSU’s team. We will have to find a new punt returner now also.

Really sad to see the musical chairs with the portal. They have learned that their word means nothing.

He was just starting to get better. And I think he was the fastest player on the team.
