LSU offensive analyst Jorge Munoz "is expected" to join former LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda at Baylor as a wide receiver coach, according to Fox Sports/Athletic reporter Bruce Feldman.

Munoz has been on LSU's staff for the past two seasons and has played a big role in the development of quarterback Joe Burrow.

Prior to arriving at LSU, Munoz spent 10 years at Louisiana-Lafayette where he coached wide receivers and quarterbacks and served as the offensive coordinator in 2016.

Ross Dellenger with Sports Illustrated reported last week that Munoz could be a candidate to replace Joe Brady as LSU's new passing game coordinator.

So we let the up and coming young guys go, but we keep the OC who admitted that he can't get it done on his own, and that no other team would ever hire.

Umm when did E say that, E couldnt evolve the offense alone but he can damn sure call the plays.. Everything says he called everything besides 3rd down last year but how often were we in 3rd down situations from converting on 1st and 2nd down

This one hurts, cause I didn't see it coming... All the other guys, yeah, I expected them to go, but I had peace of mind thinking that Munoz would be there to pick up where Brady left off. In O we trust!

Analyst salary < Coordinator salary and what may be a quality coordinator for Baylor may not be for LSU (SEC)

But when Brady left, you guys were all over the board saying it was ok cause it was really Munoz who was responsible for making burrow good. So now they are both gone, was it really Ensminger all along?

You play to win the game. This is a sign of our greatness, everyone wants a piece of us. Puts what bama has done into perspective, huh?

How did he develop burrow as an analyst, there not allowed to coach players This is a very interesting post. All Munoz did was help Joe Burrow read defenses. He had nothing to do with his development. I think Aranda has made some pretty bad hires in key positions.

I think there is a reason why Jorge Munoz was with Joe at the Heisman Ceremony and Joe specifically named him.

"All Munoz did was help Joe Burrow read defenses." Seemed to have worked quite well.

not surprising really. there were a group within the staff that were bigger aranda fans then O fans and if it came down to it would stand behind aranda before standing behind O
