Garrett Nussmeier's previous comments about Kyle Field not being as loud as Tiger Stadium resurfaced this week ahead of LSU's matchup at Texas A&M on Saturday night.
quote:

"It's not even close. Kyle Field is loud; I'll give them that. But it's not Death Valley," Nussmeier said.
During his radio show this week, Aggies head coach Mike Elko was asked about Nussmeier's words and talked about what makes Kyle Field so special. Per On3:
quote:

“I’m gonna leave the first part of that question for about 10 o’clock Saturday night,” Elko said.

“The second part of that question, what makes it special, and I joked about this because I couldn’t believe in the spring there was conversations about the 12th Man showing up at the spring game. And I addressed it in the spring, there’s a lot of things I worry about, the one thing I never worry about is where the 12th Man will be when Texas A&M football is playing on Saturday,” Elko added. “They will be in Kyle, they will be loud and proud, and they will give us an unbelievable home field advantage.”

Nuss should have said “there is something wrong with a place that only has male cheerleaders”. The Aggie response to that is always, no they are yell leaders. And that is a real example of why there are Aggie jokes.

Elko is right. A lot of A&M fans are proud.

If that is what A$M is focused on then LSU has the Aggies right where we want them.

Nuss will learn to only be complementary to an opponent. Never provide locker room material. Let your performance be your response.

107 thousand gheys and overall wearing queerleaders.... it's so intimidating. Texas Gay&M have the dumbest traditions in the SEC

Most SEC venues are loud. One being more so than others is propaganda. Let's face the truth, LSU games during the day are quite ordinary. At night, and only for SEC games, that's a different situation, and is the core of LSU's reputation.

All SEC games during the day are mid. Been to many stadiums and the crowd at 11, 230 and 6 are completely different.

Been to LSU games at most SEC stadiums and in ATL. TS is loud and awesome environment. But all SEC stadiums get crazy insane loud and have to be JUST as intimidating as TS. It always amazes me how these 18-21 year olds perform under that pressure. Our team is ready. Venue won’t decide game.

A&M has big problems if they need an interview from 3 years ago to get them motivated the play a game for 1st place in the SEC.

I mean, he aint lying. TAMU has a great atmosphere, but it's not close to being as loud as LSU. Plus, once we are up by 2+ TDs, that shite won't even matter anymore. TAMU is good, but they are fraudsters by the fact that they haven't played anybody since ND. Even the common opponent, LSU smashed them in comparison. Yall, TAMU is not as good as Ole Miss.

The key for LSU winning this game Saturday night. Is to keep Nussmeyer clean in the pocket. If Nussmeyer is running for his life, and consistently being pressured. LSU is in trouble.
