Three-star safety Matthew Langlois from New Roads, LA (Catholic Of Pointe Coupee) announced Monday that he has flipped his commitment from Kansas State to LSU.


Langlois is rated the No. 14 overall player in the state of Louisiana. His verbal pledge gives LSU 19 commitments for the class of 2021.

"Flipping" a 3 star safety, when there are much higher rated uncommitted safeties in your own state, is not a good sign.

From scrolling through his Twitter it looks like he was offered on 10/10. He retweeted a Honeybadger tweet giving him props for the offer. There’s also video of him picking off a pass with 18 seconds left in a tie game and taking it 50 plus yards to the house for the win.
