Freakn dumb. Most inconsistent way to rank teams I’ve ever seen. Bama passing us after looking like shite for most of that game until Ole Miss wore out. I see how that Bama is changing into a run team with the long ball being their big play option after beating you up on the ground. Then playing good defense. They will be a tough team now that they’ve found that identity. We need to settle this defense down and figure out more combinations on the front seven to get more pressure without letting run lanes open up. Our secondary needs to stop running side to side and be more patient. They need to play closer on zones and man coverages when they know the short to medium passes are needed. When you feel a deep shot coming, then play off. They need to be more stingy on every down. If they do those things and play with more awareness man, we’ll be better. Like the damn fumble no recovery. They should have been all over that ball. They need to stop freakn celebrating after big plays and continue playing football so they are aware of what’s going on. The penalty on Perkins was bullshite. That was not late or unnecessary. He was already in the air when he threw the freakn ball and landing on his chest right after the freakn ball was released. Horrible call. Our DL and LBs are getting held so much and it’s not being called unless it’s very obvious. That needs to stop. The defenses are holding our WRs arms too and it’s not being called. Our front seven needs a hand specialist to come teach them how to keep hands off of them easily. They need to play much lower also. I see too many guys just running straight into the OL or TE standing straight up and getting tied up with them. Stop doing that!!! Come at them lower and as soon as they start to reach their hands out, knock both their arms out the way and slide to the outside or inside of them so you have an angle and you have your lower body strength with the ability to add your upper body strength on the final move. Start faking more, inside then go out or fake out then go in. Use your darn leverage, hands, their leverage and your strength on every play. I see good effort but there’s no plan to set up the defense for success. It’s just running and trying to stay in your lane and try to make a play however possible. There’s no plan to get players to the ball on every play. That needs to change. Our LBs need to play like Weeks. The guy plays with effort but also plays his part with awareness and is relentless. He doesn’t over pursue. Our guys need to stop going north and south when a player hasn’t started going north and south yet, just slide with the player until he tries to cut it up. Pay attention to your space on the field at all times. If there is a player to the right of you keep him there and just move together while closing on the ball and who ever is closer to the ball, makes the tackle, the other guy just makes sure he doesn’t cut back. Play together and this defense will be good.

Actually, it wasn't Ole Miss wearing out but the Pete Golding we all came to know. Play like hell for 3 quarters and let you move up and down the field in the 4th. Once we got to the 4th qtr I knew Bama had it for no other reason than "4th qtr Golding".

I heard several Arkansas defensive players had to change jerseys at halftime because the LSU offensive line was holding so much the jerseys were torn to pieces

We will have to beat Bama before getting into top 10 unless others start falling before then. Beating Ole Miss might not move us up either. If Bama and ND win this week.

Lots of people blamin House for lack of CB play. Wasn’t House’s fault Eaux failed miserably at recruitment his last 2 years here

The only poll that matters is the first week in December.

Can’t help but recall 2003 when we had a similar start. Actually lost to FL that year and only beat #15 Ole Miss by a couple.

It's all about bama moving up, not about one hell of a good SEC match-up.

Can’t argue with either poll’s results…it just depends on the methodology that they follow.

I got zero issue with us being dropped. Our secondary is a massive liability that is going to lose us games.

These polls mean nothing. They are agenda driven bullship. The idiocy of these polls are why we have a committee deciding who is in the playoffs.

Pools don't matter if you're gonna play a soft zone and let the other team march up and down the field each week, we'll be out soon enough

I’m glad Alabama is ahead of us and I hope it stays that way until we play them.

Bama jumped after beating ole miss at home right? So by that logic we should jump them if we beat ole miss on the road next week

Bama's poll position and logic are not something that go together.
