Jalen Hurts Transferring? LSU Freshman RB Chris Curry Has A Message For Him

Reports surfaced this week that Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts could transfer if he does not win the starting spot in Tuscaloosa this offseason, according to his father.

If Hurts were to transfer, it would probably be unlikely that ends up back in the SEC West, but that not stopping incoming LSU freshman running back Chris Curry from recruiting the Bama QB to Baton Rouge.

If I'm a frosh RB looking for a way to mesh with my new team, especially the QBs, publicly recruiting a QB that is a class ahead of my teammates is not high on the to-do list.

Overall, he's a pretty smart QB and has the advantage of having the skills of a true tailback....he's probably one of the top 5 tailbacks in the SEC

Not the best move by Curry to actively recruit a player to come compete with his future teammates. Especially considering he hasn't even stepped on campus yet and developed relationships or built any equity on the field with his play.

Not smart of Curry to try and recruit a veteran QB to LSU knowing that the QB's that you play with right now or will play with are beneficial to your career. They'll remember that when you are looking for them to throw you a pass out of the backfield. Lol
