John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
Reports surfaced this week that Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts could transfer if he does not win the starting spot in Tuscaloosa this offseason, according to his father.

If Hurts were to transfer, it would probably be unlikely that ends up back in the SEC West, but that not stopping incoming LSU freshman running back Chris Curry from recruiting the Bama QB to Baton Rouge.

You can read what Hurts' father had to say about the possibility of him transferring here.

If he transferred to LSU he wouldn’t automatically lose 2 stars off his high school rankings!

In Chris's defense, "Aye mi boy come threw death valley" was a message to Jalen Hurts only. He didn't edit it for middle-aged white dudes on TD.

ugh...those damn middle-aged white dudes and their correct spelling....ruining America.... I hear you, two boys talking to each other. crazy how everyone is critical of everything these days. I sure am glad all this technology wasn't around when I was in high school and college.

He’s not that good. He’s surrounded by unbelievable talent. Protected by a great oline and coached by the best. His arm is decent, but not a big threat. Most of his plays come on the ground. He would not be as successful at another program. I’ll pass.

His greatest play had four holds that weren't called because of the color of his uniform.

The moral of this story is, we need to do a better job of thinking things threw before we tweet.

If he leaves alabama he's going home and play for Texas... Alabama will block any attempts of him staying in the SEC...

Unless he goes to a junior college first. Then he can transfer wherever he wants.

Not smart of Curry to try and recruit a veteran QB to LSU knowing that the QB's that you play with right now or will play with are beneficial to your career. They'll remember that when you are looking for them to throw you a pass out of the backfield. Lol
